Shadow & Strength · Delaware
The Group
A free men’s group in Delaware. No dues. No pitch. No pretending.
Welcome
Shadow & Strength is a room where men tell the truth — about their marriages, their tempers, their fathers, their failures, and the men they’re trying to become — and hold each other accountable for becoming them.

(doors open 9:00)
Millsboro, DE · Coffee & donuts provided · Free
The first meeting’s theme: The Spirit of Your Aim Is the Answer to Your Thoughts — because a man’s underlying aim shapes the questions he asks, what he notices, and who he becomes.

In The Room
What Happens in the Room
- Check-in. Every man speaks. Briefly, honestly — where he actually is, not where he wishes he was.
- The topic. One theme, gone deep — drawn from real life: wounds, aim, discipline, fatherhood, marriage, faith, failure.
- The work. Journaling, self-examination, and straight talk between brothers. No lectures, no speeches, no contests over who has it worst.
- The charge. Every man leaves with one thing to do before the next meeting — and brothers who will ask whether he did it.
The Standard
The Code of the Room
- What is said in the room stays in the room.
- Straight talk, given in love. We are not here to wound each other or to flatter each other.
- No fixing a man who asked only to be heard. No carrying another man’s pain for him — we walk beside him while he carries it.
- Vulnerability is honesty. It is not dumping, and it is not making the room — or your partner at home — responsible for your healing.

What This Is Not
Not therapy or counseling — if you are in crisis, call or text 988 right now, and tell a brother after. Not a business or a sales pitch. Not a nonprofit. Not a stage, and not a crutch.
First Night
Your First Night
You don’t have to talk beyond introducing yourself. You don’t need the right clothes, the right words, or a fixed life. Come as you are, listen, and decide for yourself whether this room is honest. Most men know by the end of the first night.
Every man who joins receives the Shadow & Strength Manifesto — a small book, free, always.
